How do you celebrate Valentine’s Day, guys? Or maybe the question should be: do you celebrate Valentine’s Day? Why or why not?
Valentine’s Day is celebrated to express love and affection between intimate companions. It’s a day to celebrate romantic relationships, friendship, and admiration. Traditionally observed on February 14th, it often involves the exchange of cards, flowers, gifts, and gestures of affection. The day is named after St. Valentine, a Christian martyr, and has evolved into a global celebration of love in various forms. Couples often take the opportunity to express their feelings and strengthen their bonds, making it a special day for many.
Celebrating Valentine’s Day with your partner can be a special and memorable experience. If you are in a relationship, here are some ideas for gay couples to enjoy this romantic day together:
1. Romantic Dinner:
– Plan a romantic dinner at home or visit your favorite restaurant. Set the mood with candles, soft music, and a delicious meal to enjoy together.
2. Weekend Getaway:
– Surprise your partner with a weekend getaway to a cozy bed and breakfast, a beach resort, or a charming cabin in the mountains.
3. Spa Day for Two:
– Book a couples’ spa day to relax and indulge in massages, facials, and other pampering treatments.
4. Outdoor Adventure:
– If you both enjoy outdoor activities, plan a day of adventure such as hiking, biking, or a scenic picnic in a beautiful park.

Remember, the most important thing is to celebrate your love in a way that feels meaningful and authentic to your relationship. Tailor these ideas to your partner’s interests and enjoy a Valentine’s Day filled with love and connection.
That being said, Valentine’s Day can be a fantastic time for self-love and celebrating friendships also. Here are some ideas for gay singles to enjoy Valentine’s Day:

Why all-the-Plans?
Why all-the-preparations?
Why all-the-expense?
Why not just-a-good-BJ/RJ/HJ –
or
why not just an “obliterative deeply inserted penis” –
into the rectum –
for the
eventual, volcanic eruption?
It requires “No Plans”;
It requires “No Preparation”;
It is “Dirt Cheap”;
and
It can be quite “Expeditious”!
Perhaps –
if funds allow –
“Burger King”
“Mc Donald’s”
or
“Wendy’s”?
Perhaps –
a
Box
of
“Russell Stover Assorted Candies”?
A
refreshing libation –
of
“Kool Aid
with
a
dash of
“Rose’s Lime Juice”
“Straight Up”!
A chocolate bath.
If you’re into “dating”, Valentine’s Day is for you. An application of the Heterosexual Norm onto Gay guys where the goal is to “interview” people over time and ultimately find your “forever after, perfect prince.” A day where you can go full bore on your love, or for an “intended”, or maybe a guy with potential. If you’re not looking for long-term love, Palentine’s events are a great way to fill the gap of guilt that Valentine’s Day forces on those who are looking for (or maybe unable to find) long-term relationship (LTR) partners or potential partners. Over the years,… Read more »
Looking for LTR myself.
There are guys who do. Make sure it’s in you profile(s). And guys who aren’t should just make sure they connect with guys who aren’t.
I, personally, don’t observe it.
1 – it basically shoves it in our face that we’re “nobodies” unless we’re partnered
2 – WHY should there be 1 specific day to show your affection to somebody
3 – the day is “ruined” unless you have some combo of: candy, flowers, meal, & entertainment/sex
Don’t, if it doesn’t fit you. And don’t feel agitated/saddened by your decision to be yourself. I celebrate holidays/events which fit who I am. Kwanza? Yom Kippur? Awesome! But no because they’re not me. Used to love Super Bowl Sunday. Many years of connecting with friends, great foods, great times, great beverages. And a game, regardless of whose team was in or out. But that’s faded in recent years. Went into its 2024 year non-plussed. By the time of the game’s kickoff, I was totally fed up with the Swift/Kelce/Mahome Family MegaMillion$ hijacking. When the last few minutes of the… Read more »
Funny your comment about the 49ers…my dad says the same thing (“It’s all about who gets paid”…then rambles on about plays that “go wrong ONLY at particular times”).
