Fifteen years ago, the murder of a major casino mogul reshaped the lives of two young boys. Ju Tae-seon became the “son of the victim,” left with the hollow ache of a stolen childhood, while Lee Chae-ha became the “son of the killer,” branded by his father’s blood-stained hands. Years later, fate brings them back together inside the legal system under drastically altered circumstances. Tae-seon, played by Yoon Do-gun, has grown into a calculating chief prosecutor driven by his past and an icy desire for answers. Chae-ha, portrayed by Park Siwoo, works alongside him as a dedicated investigator who is working under the shadow of his family’s dark reputation.
Initially approaching Chae-ha with ulterior motives to uncover the truth behind the 2010 murder that destroyed his life, Tae-seon forces the investigator into a high-risk joint operation.
