It’s Valentine’s Day 2023, guys! What are your plans for today? I’m staying in this year to watch several anime series on Netflix, although I did order a “Valentine’s Day meal” for myself. I guess it sounds like a usual day for me this year except I did wish my friends a Happy Valentine’s Day.
What about you, guys? And more importantly, how do you like to spend Valentine’s Day? Also, are you single or taken? I’ve scoured the internet to check what others have to say on this matter, and here are some of the ways in which gay and bisexual men like to spend Valentine’s Day:
One gay man said that he liked to watch Netflix on this day and drink a frappe. On the other hand, a great number of people are, understandably, working – as one guy pointed out: “I’m at work from 6 am to 8 pm. Then, I’m going home to eat noodles, sleep and do it again tomorrow.”
It doesn’t mean we can’t incorporate a bit of self-love even if we’re all working people though, as evidenced by the response of another guy who said: “I work till around four. Then go home, cook something super spicy, put on one of my favorite movies, and watch that. When that’s done, turn the lights off, and put on some classic 90s tunes while reading about the Khaljis and other Sultanates of Delhi. Sounds fun enough.” I guess that’s adulting for you. When I was younger, I used to take the time off during Valentine’s Day and spend it with a boyfriend.
Further, quite a number of single men on the thread admitted that this day, most often than not, makes them contemplate why they are still single when they have so much to offer to the right guy.
Meanwhile, a man currently in a relationship revealed, “It’s just another day for us. The first 2 or 3 Valentine’s Days we did special things. One time I made him giant Poké Ball sugar cookies and had rose petals leading to our shut bedroom door where I was laying nude with candles around and I held said Poké Ball cookie over my nether region waiting for him to walk in. One time he did set up a scavenger trail/hunt for me.” Then he added, “But the charm of Valentine’s Day fell off pretty quick. Now we don’t do anything, sometimes out of spite.” You can read the thread in full here.
Having said all that, Happy Valentine’s Day, guys! If you haven’t entered our Valentine’s contest on Instagram, you may want to check this link.
HOW DO I LIKE TO SPEND VALENTINE’S DAY?
WATCHING CAR VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE.
You most certainly enjoy the part about the rims?
That And The Turbo Chargers
Fan Belts, too?
Spark Plug Wires?
Hoses of all lengths and thicknesses?
LOL, That’s Right!
You’re not nearly as humorous as you seem to think you are.
I shall spend it
I spent the day before
I shall spend it the day after…
“Exchanging ‘Carbon Dioxide’ For Oxygen”
continuing to contribute
the Food Chain!
Lmao, yeah, you go again, agreed!
Once again, when Kasper hits-the-mark…
you come out-of-the-woodwork!
It’s a holiday enamored by those in new LTRs or by those thinking romantically about the fact that they’re not in a relationship.
For those in long time LTRs or for those who have no interest in and LTR, it’s a day with little meaning.
Frankly, whether you’re in an LTR or have FWBs or just friends, any day is a day to do something special (small or large) to let them know you appreciate them. Hell, maybe just tell them, no gift required.
So utterly “Heartless”!
You certainly are no “Romantic”.
However, being a “Curmudgeon” has its good points…
hard earned monies are not wasted on useless flowers, candies, champagne or Escargot!
Who needs Romance…
when there is always “A4A”!
Exactly, YOU should designate the day.
Dip those arrows in arsenic!
actually (and technically) Valentine’s Day isn’t really a holiday (since we still gotta work that day), honey
I would love to spend it with 4-5 men as their submissive sissy slave for their pleasure’s and more
If it’s about “chocolates and other sweet things,” I’m already chocolate and sweet on occasion. Even when I was in a relationship, I found it ridiculous, we did these things when felt like it, upon a moment’s notice. Just a rebel at heart, I guess.
always wondered why it gotta be about chocolate only? why not something different, like gummy bears perhaps? or peanuts, pistachios or almonds, honey?
Alone, listened to The Phantom of the Opera soundtrack, the original Broadway soundtrack , not that gawdawful movie version, and shedding a tear fir the Phantom’s heartbreak.
A romantic evening with a partner would be great!
But I don’t have a partner.
you do have your hands!
they can partner up!
i like to spend it with just three people: me, myself and i .. why? cuz i’m too ugly, honey! it works!
If you want to be ugly, then go for it, but I wonder what defines ugly and who’s to say what’s ugly? What’s ugly to you might be beautiful to someone else.
Beautifully stated, Marcus.
I wish I could have spent Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend, but he was home taking care of his 90 year old mother. How can you not love a guy who is devoted to the well being of his mom?
