Hey, guys! Do you judge or make assumptions about men’s personality traits and behaviors based on their dick pics?
If your answer is yes, you’re not alone in that regard. Apparently these days, people’s personalities, specifically that of the male sex variety, are being gauged through… their penises? Or, you know, a snapshot of it.
This is, at least, according to a study published in the journal Sexuality & Culture way back in August. And I know, going by the comments on our article posted earlier this month, that some of you like receiving or sending dick pics (although some are apathetic towards it), which is why we’re featuring this today.
The study, which was conducted by scientists and researchers from New Mexico Highlands University, has gone viral on social media thanks to this gal who dubbed herself “Dr. M the Science Femme.” She collaborated with PsyPost to interpret the results of the study. She said, “This study tested what first impression you’re giving about your personality judging by your dick pic alone.”
Dr. M the Science Femme, who has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, explained the study in detail:
Apparently, skinny penises are giving neuroticism, and girthy penises are giving more extraverted, open to new experiences, more sexually active, better in bed, and more of a pleaser as opposed to being a ‘pillow princess.’ Long penises gave off the same impressions. Medium-length penises didn’t signal any strong personality traits at all. Congratulations, you’re a blank canvas. Maybe now partners can get to know you as a *person.*
Now, for something we can all control: Having untrimmed pubic hair apparently gives off strong signals that you’re an introverted, disagreeable, careless, virgin.
Further, she commented that the paper was shockingly woke and self-aware. She added, “I was impressed by how they acknowledge that penis-sized based perceptions of masculinity are related to greater sexism and greater sexual narcissism. Add a new red flag to the list, yall. Points revoked for specifically including LGBQ+ participants with a conspicuous absence of a T in that acronym.”

The study was reportedly conducted to find out “what information is inferred from a picture of a penis at zero-acquaintance.” A total of 106 people, 80% of whom were women, were shown pictures of 24 penises that varied in girth, length, and the amount of pubic hair. The respondents were also asked several questions including:
- This person is sympathetic, warm.
- Would this person be an active member of sex (pleaser) or a passive member in sex (pillow princess)?
- How many sexual partners do you think this person has had?

males make the same, exacting, assertions based on the size and roundness of a pair of tits!

Size is contingent on self-perceptions and are at the mercy of either an intellect or a lack of thereof!

so, truly, he practiced what he preached – and he died from “Prostate Cancer.”
Not really an equivalency observation about males. Yes, males notice boobs, but with a distinct biological difference. A penis of any size or shape can effect pregnancy somewhat equivalently (although one can argue a longer one makes the “deposit” closer to the “bullseye” and thus an easier task for his swimmers.) However, a woman with a wide pair of hips and couple generous knockers implies better child-birthing potential and subsequent nutritional advantages to his offspring, hardly the cluelessness of the assertions of the women in this so-called “study.”
I agree that guys with big, long, thick penises are more out-going, happy and confident but that doesn’t mean they are better in bed than guys with small to average size penises. Believe me, it depends on the individual!! The best sex I ever had was with a guy that sports a rock-hard 7.5 inch medium thick penis. The foreplay and fuck sessions are long and simply amazing!!!! His looks and body is the average guy next door look. We been playing around for over 15 years.
I’ve had and have sex with guys with a variety of penis configurations. How their penises looked or were constructed had and have nothing to do with personality or performance.

Hmmm . . .Based on personal experience, regardless of length and girth, I can’t say that I concur. I have a penis, and I want to use it. There are those who are looking for a penis and also want to use it! I’ve found that personality traits are somewhat similar across the board despite one’s penis size. Whatever happened to “you can’t judge a book by its cover?” The only thing I can tell for sure about a gay man’s profile pic is depending on if it’s a pic of his ass or his dick; you can tell, either bottom or top. I know there’s a certain confidence in being well endowed, but it’s also about your own method of “dicking down” someone. Reading this article is reminiscent of reading about astrology and horoscopes. Generalizations are usually informative but useless. I am ten inches engorged and girth-blessed. I am polyamorous and prefer that my lovers also focus on my intellect. I understand that I am going to be objectified but there’s much more to me than a massive hunk of ManMeat. The author’s conclusions about pubic hair totally missed me. I am extroverted, generally agreeable, not careless at all, and I was a late-bloomer but am definitely not virginal. The article was an amusing read but not very enlightening.
They asked a bunch of women! Full stop. Women are generally clueless about men and make horrendous choices for mates. Just look at the number of women who have failed at marriage and brought children into the world to be fatherless because of their cluelessness. Judging a guy on his dick? That figures—about the level of sophistication of women about men.
