Come inside. Get lost. Never leave.
Warner Bros. has unveiled the official full-length trailer for its upcoming thriller “Saltburn,” starring Australian actor Jacob Elordi (Euphoria, The Kissing Booth) and Irish actor Barry Keoghan (Eternals). Set in a quaint British suburban town, the film weaves a unique story of friendship and opulence.
Directed by Academy Award winner Emerald Fennell, “Saltburn” delves into the realms of “privilege and desire.” Saltburn is being described as gay erotic thriller.
Struggling teenager Oliver Quick (played by Barry Keoghan) crosses paths with the charismatic Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi) when the latter encounters a flat bicycle tire causing him to be stranded on the roadside. Their chance meeting leads to an unlikely friendship that unfolds within the lavish surroundings of the Catton family estate, marked by extravagant black-tie dinners and extravagant tennis court soirees.
The film promises a rollercoaster of surprises, blending an undercurrent of suspense with a touch of humor. Quick finds himself immersed in the luxurious lifestyle of Saltburn, where his reality takes on a surreal twist.
Joining the ensemble cast are Rosamund Pike (who plays the role of Elspeth Catton), Richard E. Grant (Sir James Catton), Alison Oliver (Venetia Catton), Archie Madekwe (Farleigh Start), and Carey Mulligan (Poor Dear Pamela).
The official synopsis of the film reads:
Academy Award winning filmmaker Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman) brings us a beautifully wicked tale of privilege and desire.
