If you’ve been seeing more of Jamie Foxx online as of late, it’s because of his new Netflix film called Day Shift.
In Day Shift, Jamie Foxx plays the role of Bud Jablonski, a pool boy by day and a vampire hunter by night. The movie is currently number one in 79 countries so if you haven’t seen it yet, you totally should (I already did, I thought it was funny and worth my while), especially if you’re into vampire movies and if you love Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg, and Dave Franco (who plays the role of Seth).
Anyway, I thought Jamie Foxx was hot and funny and such a badass in the movie, and reading the reactions of the Twitterverse, I’m clearly not alone in thinking this. Plus, he totally reminds me of my professor in Finance, Professor Williams (sans the facial hair), whom I was crushing on at college, so there.
Jamie Foxx is an award-winning actor who won numerous awards for his film Ray, including an Oscar for Best Actor. He has a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Grammy Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award and he is also a singer (yes, he sings).
In 2020, Jamie Foxx and his family create the DeOndra Dixon Fund in honor of his late sister, DeOndra Dixon, who passed away at the age of 36. Ms. Dixon was a Special Olympics athlete and an ambassador for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation. Read more about this story here.
Reportedly, Jamie Foxx supports a number of foundations such as the Cancer Research Institute, the Elton John AIDS Foundation, Make Poverty History, and City of Hope among many others. Check this link for the complete list.
Apart from Day Shift, my favorite Jamie Foxx movies are Collateral (2004), The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), Ray (2004), and Annie (2014) to name a few.
Always been a fan of Jamie Foxx. I remember him from his early days on the show “In living color”. Great singer and brilliant actor in comedy, action thrillers and drama. Great choice for Hottie of the Day.
Although his creation of a foundation in memory of his sister is commendable, I seriously wonder why you think most of whom you call “hottie”, are hot? Sory just my opinion. Go ahead and censor this opinion as someone does most of mime anyway.
Jim:
As you inferred…
beauty is in the eye of-the-beholder. Your opinion is valid.
They never print my opinions. I hate guys being called “hot” or “hotter” unless it is me.
Yes, I know what you mean. So often my comments which contain nothing that could be called offensive are taken down…and that’s just wrong…
…But let me add that I do find Jamie Fox to be as hot a “hottie” as any man might ever want to be.
Well, they already removed my reply to you that I left only 20 mins ago…This place is a censorship city…Someone should explain to them why freedom of speech is in the First Amendment because its importance to all of us So important as made clear by our founders who were infinitely wiser than the non-entities that run this are.
Someone should understand that the First Amendment and Freedom of Speech apply to the media and to individuals in public locations or forums. A4A is a private entity. A4A owns this “sandbox” and its staff can do as they please. Their only constraint is to operate the site to ensure it is popular so it generates as much ad revenue as possible.
Jamie Foxie can always be my daddy! However, Netflix rarely produces something worth watching. I hope I am wrong this time.
Man, what the establishment thinks is “hot”, gets less “hot” all the time. When you post a picture of Colin Farrell as hot, you’ll get my vote.
He is sexy.
Looks like you’ve nailed it: Most guys’ idea of a “Hottie” is for “Nottie” for most other guys.
I just saw this movie, I love vamp-movies and this one was funny. Jamie’s gl, and an A-1 actor, don’t know about the “hottie” though.
Stop this. You’re just giving free advertising to a for-profit movie. Jamie Foxx is not hot, ever. Not that it matters. STop this obsession, stop talking about “hot,” it’s bad.
I have to admit that I, too, am perplexed by the choice to call this Jamie Foxx a “hottie.” I noticed that a lot of the hotties of the day lately have been men of color – which is fine by me. But if we’re trying to be more inclusive, surely there are guys that would be more widely agreed upon? Jason Momoa, for example? Shemar Moore? Adam Rodriguez?
I don’t think I ever heard of Jamie Foxx called “sexy” before.
Jamie Fox has grown more attractive with the passage of time… a greater degree of seriousness and determination suit his handsome features well…I tend to think that such changes result from a life well-lived, but that’s only my speculation.
