They say we all have kinks. Do you agree with this statement, guys? If so, what are your deepest sexual desires and how often do you think about and/or act on your sexual kinks? More importantly, do you tell your partner or husband or boyfriend or hook ups about your sexual fantasies and what you want in bed?

Wikipedia defines kink as:

In human sexuality, kinkiness is the use of non-conventional sexual practices, concepts or fantasies. The term derives from the idea of a “bend” (cf. a “kink”) in one’s sexual behaviour, to contrast such behaviour with “straight” or “vanilla” sexual mores and proclivities.

Anyway, if you do have sexual kinks and fantasies, no worries, you certainly are not alone in that regard. In fact, having sexual fantasies and fantasizing aren’t as unusual as you think, even some kinks and fetishes which you may think are taboo or weird, we just didn’t know how common some of these sexual fantasies are. This is according to the result of the study conducted by Dr. Justin J. Lehmiller, a Research Fellow at The Kinsey Institute. 

Dr. Lehmiller surveyed 4,175 Americans; he studied their sexual fantasies and wrote about his findings in his book titled Tell Me What You Want: The Science of Sexual Desire and How It Can Help You Improve Your Sex Life. The results of his study revealed that the most fantasized about kink is BDSM, which stands for Bondage/discipline, dominance/submission, and sadism/masochism. Further, Dr. Lehmiller said his survey showed that “93% of men and 96% of women had fantasized about some aspect of BDSM before.”

Fetish fantasies came next in the list of most common fantasies with foot fetish as the most popular. This is followed by body fluids (like ejaculate, spit, urine, etc.) while voyeurism came in fourth. 

Do you fantasize about putting on a show, exposing yourself in public, or having sex with an audience? If so, this means you’re into exhibitionism. It’s in contrast with voyeurism where people fantasize about watching someone else undress or have sex instead of the other way around.

There are also others who fantasize about “taking on different roles and ages” like “dressing up and/or acting as a child,” this is called age play, says Dr. Lehmiller. If you fantasize about having sex while dressed up as an animal then you have the makings of a furry like the 9% of the survey participants in the aforementioned study.

Does your partner “force” you to dress as a woman (with sex in mind, of course)? Then you guys are into gender play.

Meanwhile, Dr. Lehmiller revealed that 58% of his male respondents said they fantasized about watching their partner have sex with someone else. This is called cuckolding and we recently talked about it here.

Lastly, do you use food while having sex? Do you lather his neck or chest with honey or whipped cream which you then lick off of him? It’s called food play and 40% of Dr. Lehmiller’s study participants had fantasized about this before.
