This is the highest example/achievement of what “Gay rights” is really about, finding the love/s of your lives, freely, without shame of the hypocritical society.
We’re on our way, but we’re not at the highest level yet. We’ll be there when there won’t be a need for “Gay rights” because Gays will have the same rights as everyone else.

This is why acceptance is sluggish, stalled in many places. Many Gays don’t won’t to be accepted or equal; they want to be separate and in some aspects superior. The fight for “Equality” is a joke. For them, being equal just isn’t good enough.

Charlie, you bring up a good point. Those depicted represent the Media depictions of a typical Gay Couple but they are not representative of gay couples outside the gay meccas. So, what you wrote is true many of us live quietly, love, prosper and engage accordingly.
