With his sharp cheekbones, piercing blue eyes, and androgynous beauty that defies the gender norms of fashion, Damian Hurley is more than just a pretty face—he’s a model, actor, and director making waves in every industry he touches. He has fronted high-fashion campaigns for Pat McGrath Labs, including the Sublime Perfection and Dark Star Mascara lines, and has also posed for L’Beauté Homme alongside numerous editorial features. In addition, he has graced glossy magazine covers and brought a smoldering elegance to photo shoots that has fashion insiders calling him one of the most captivating rising stars in the modeling world.
On screen, Damian first made an impression in the TV drama The Royals, playing Prince Hansel von Liechtenstein alongside his mother, Elizabeth Hurley, who played the role of Queen Helena Henstridge. But he’s not content with just acting—he’s also stepping boldly into the director’s chair. His feature film debut, Strictly Confidential, isn’t just another project; it’s deeply personal.
“I first came up with this idea when I was 17 after I lost a very close friend of mine to suicide, which was a really devastating time. It was the first loss that me and most of my friends had ever known and the world fell apart and COVID happened and that idea got tucked into a little drawer. I made a short film over lockdown, which one of the head executives at Lionsgate saw and I got a call out of the blue saying that they wanted me to write and direct a feature for them, which is insane to hear,” speaking with ET, Damian shared the story behind the making of Strictly Confidential.
Beyond the world of entertainment, Damian has a deep commitment to philanthropy. Alongside Elizabeth Hurley, he’s been a familiar face at high-profile charity events. They’ve supported the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Hot Pink Party, the Shooting Star Children’s Hospices’ annual Shooting Star Ball, and Elton John AIDS Foundation galas. The duo has also lent their voices to Lumos, a charity focused on reuniting children in care with their families. Damian’s presence at these events isn’t just for the cameras—he’s using his growing platform to bring attention to causes close to his heart.
Whether modeling, directing an emotional feature, or standing beside his mother at a charity gala, Damian Hurley is redefining what it means to be a multi-hyphenate talent in the modern era. And if his androgynous appeal and fearless creative choices are any indication, this is just the beginning for fashion’s—and now film’s—most intriguing heartthrob.
