This is the question of the netizens when the renowned 40-year-old celebrity hairstylist from the UK and a close friend of Kim Kardashian, has been spotted vacationing with a hunk. Media outlets are quick to identify the hottie as Federico Castro Debernardi. At the same time, they are also saying that Appleton has moved on already from his former husband, Lukas Gage.
That the charming Argentinian is reportedly Appleton’s new beau. Appleton and Debernardi were recently spotted together at a gathering at Chateau Marmont, followed by a delightful beach outing in Santa Monica over the weekend, where they appeared to be thoroughly enjoying each other’s company. This sparked rumors that the two are romantically involved with each other.

Us Weekly described Debernardi as “a successful art dealer who prefers to live his life out of the limelight.” And, oh, did we mention he’s also a Harvard alumnus? Yep, he is! Plus, a quick look at his Instagram account revealed not only is he artsy, he’s also an animal lover and a traveler!
While their relationship is still in its early stages, a source revealed to Us Weekly that the pair “have been on a few dates,” that Appleton is “extremely happy with where he is at right now.”
Meanwhile, TMZ reported that Appleton and Debernardi first crossed paths through mutual friends, and that Appleton has already introduced him to his circle of friends.
Four months prior, Appleton reportedly had a ‘less-than-amicable’ split from ex-husband, 28-year-old actor Lukas Gage. Their divorce filing in November 2023 cited “irreconcilable differences” after only six months of marriage.
However, Gage seems to have also moved forward already.
Speaking to People at SXSW, he shared that he’s doing “great” and thriving in his newfound single life. “It’s been a year of learning, growing, changing –– yeah, just constant change,” he refected. “Life’s always changing.”
It appears Gage is taking his time before jumping into another relationship.
