Hey, guys! We are pleased to announce that we raised a bit under $5,000 for our Black Lives Matter fundraising campaign yesterday and Adam4Adam is proud to round it up to $5,000 and then top it with an additional $5,000 as promised. So today, we will be sending a total of $10,000 to the National Black Justice Coalition (NBJC) an organization dedicated to the empowerment of Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and same gender loving (LGBTQ/SGL) people, including people living with HIV/AIDS.
We are not surprised by your generosity as A4A has always been a very open and very loving community since 2003. We knew you would “deliver.”
But why NBJC, you ask? Adam4Adam chose this organization because it offers help to the Black LGBTQ community. They have been around since 2003 “Building Stronger Black Families.” NBJC: 1) focuses on the African American family, 2) put a face on the Black LGBTQ/SGL community, and 3) foster a collective effort to accord dignity and respect to all African American families as an important step in individual and community empowerment. To know more about them, click here.
Of course our fight for equality—whether for gender or race—isn’t limited to one day per year, which is why here on Adam4Adam we start by doing what we can with what we have. We inform our A4A blog readers with the latest news on diversity and equality issues. We raise funds for the community annually and as a company, A4A observes equal opportunity in the workplace, meaning we employ people regardless of their sexuality, race, and gender.
Lastly, on our app and website, Adam4Adam observes a zero tolerance policy on racism and biphobic, transphobic, and homophobic bullying. This means that racist users, as well as those who bully others on the A4A app, will be instantly banned on our platform.
Before we leave you, A4A members who wish to do more and support the Black Lives Matter movement may check here for ways to help the cause.
Again, thank you for your continued support, guys, this campaign would not have been made possible without your generosity. See you again next time!
Thats amazing!!!!
Thanks to all members who donated! We raised all that money with all of you!
Wonderful!!!!
Why couldn’t A4A raise money for an actual WORTHY cause like all the business owners whose stores were destroyed by all the BLACK (and Antifa) rioters/looters/thieves???
It was nice to meet you! But your account on Adam4Adam is now banned for life.
Bye Felicia!
it is an actual worthy cause. your comment is disgusting. but, not surprising. your strain of DNA is the strain we are trying to weed out of the gene pool. imagine a racist queen…im like wait what…I see, you are the one that says no black men white only, no total bottoms and gen men only. gotcha. Im gonna go with what Dave posted. bye felicia

SUPPORT BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES!!!!!
We Thank You So Much ADAM 4ADAM
Thanks to you my love!
For the first time in my life there is more widespread support for black and brown men. Im old, African American and proud to see A4A show courage.
Hi David, thanks man!
I don’t see it as courage though, for me, it is just normal tbh, more like “duty”
As a gay/trans/bi/queer dating platform, we HAVE to include everyone and we WANT to include everyone. It is not a stunt or PR for us, it’s what A4A is all about. 53% of all our users are non-white.
Thank you A4A for doing a big part to help the efforts of our community. Its a large amount but more importantly, your voice is heard and it carries influence. Thank you, 10 thousand times! Thanks to everyone that donated <3
thanks man!
Like I said, I just feel like we did what we had to do 🙂
Well done to A4A for recognising the importance of supporting black organisations and helping to raise funds for worthy causes that highlight the plight of people from the BAME communities. Much more needs to be done but there are positive steps forward. Unfortunately, I’ve suffered racism from white users on this app and I’ve even been called the N word! A4A must have stricter measures in dealing with these pieces of scum that hide behind these apps. A4A must act quicker in rooting out these lowlifes and banning them permanently from using this platform!
Tyaxx, make sure to report these users, we dont want them on a4a.
