Where are you from, guys, and has your country already started easing your coronavirus lockdown? We are asking because it’s been weeks since many countries have gone on lockdown or have put some levels of restrictions as a measure against COVID-19 and now, talks about easing these restrictions have started as we speak. This means opening up our economy as well as some—if not all—establishments that have been closed since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In other parts of the world like Queensland for example, people will now be allowed to shop for non-essential items starting May 1, 2020, The Guardian reports. Their national parks will reopen and while picnics and weekend drives are also already allowed, they actually can’t travel further than 50km from their homes. More importantly, only two people from a household can go outside at a time and of course, social distancing will still be observed. But this is indeed more relaxed as compared to before when they were only allowed to shop for essential goods and services, receive medical attention, or care for family members.

In Quebec, on the other hand, travel restrictions between regions will be removed gradually starting May 4 and plans to reopen the following such as “retail stores, the construction and manufacturing sectors, as well as primary schools and daycares” have been announced. However, according to CTV News, Deputy Premier Genevieve Guilbault reiterated that “restrictions could be put back in place if they appear to lead to an increase in the spread of COVID-19.” Further, Quebec plans to “ramp up COVID-19 testing from roughly 5,000 to 20,000 tests a day” as deconfinement begins (As we all know, it is with testing and quickly isolating new carriers that we are able to halt further spread of coronavirus).

Going back to our initial question, guys, which country are you from and has your country started easing your lockdown restrictions? Moreover, what will you do once your areas start to relax COVID-19 rules and restrictions? Will you start meeting guys/hookup again? Will you start meeting family and friends? Go to work? Or will you slowly find your way back to your previous life before COVID-19 instead of diving back into the rat race all at once? As for me, I’ll take it slowly and observe social distancing as per usual; Adam4Adam Team will continue to work at home so it helps a lot. I’ll probably drop by the mall to get some preordered products that suffered release date delays though but that’s about it… for now.

What about you, guys, what are your plans for life after lockdown? What’s going to be your “new normal”? Share with us your thoughts and stories in the comments section below.
