Hey, guys! Our hottie of the day is 24-year-old Rickey Thompson. Rickey is an American actor, comedian, and Internet personality who originally hails from Raleigh, North California. He stars as Dakota Green (the gay best friend) in YouTube’s Foursome—a romantic comedy web television series—with Jenn McAllister (who plays the role of Andie Fixler), Meghan Falcone (as Courtney Todd), and Brooke Markham (as Imogen Hillenshine) to name a few.
He appeared in Aminé’s Reel It In music video and he was also recently featured in a Calvin Klein campaign—a feat that Rickey calls “a dream come true.”
Rickey rose to prominence for posting hilarious videos on Vine and later on, on Instagram, where he currently has 5.9M followers. We love Rickey’s sense of humor; his videos on Instagram always make our day, not to mention that he’s such a bundle of energy. During this quarantine period, Rickey says he naps 5x a day (which keeps him awake at night as a result) and he has also taken to posting quarantine workouts this COVID-19 crisis. And did we tell you already just how great of a dancer he is? Yep, he’s got some serious moves which you need to see, take a look at a couple of his videos below:
Rickey’s got such an amazing smile and did we mention already that he’s a dog lover? That’s right guys, he is an animal lover and he has a cute dog named Emmy.
Can’t get enough of Rickey? You can follow him on Instagram and YouTube where he talks about fashion, beauty trends, and the bullying he experienced for “being gay and being an extra-loud person” (In an interview with The New York Times, Rickey related how people would pick on him because of how he looked and how they would tell him: “You’re so annoying.” Read the interview in full here).
We leave you today with our favorite video of Rickey with Mariah Carey and please don’t forget to follow Adam4Adam on Instagram for more hotties like Rickey!
Happy viewing!
So completely NOT hot.
so so so NOT hot it terrified me some but I’ll try to be open minded.
Umm not too sure about this
Ugh that little furry face! Nothing and I mean nothing gets me like an adorable puppy, but then I love anything that’s a baby. I wish him every success.
Everything EVERYONE could want in a gay guy! Smooth, Young. Thin. Diva-music-loving. Light on everyday masculine behavior. This is who most gay guys are and who most gay guys seek. Right? This guy does add “Diversity” so that’s good.
Not faulting him; no hate or criticism of him. Just the…once again on A4A … narrow, biased, stereotypical presentation of what it supposedly means to be a gay guy. Yes, everyone is whoever they are and is attracted to whoever they’re attracted to; let’s show some variation in who we are and who we’re attracted to.
YOU ALWAYS SOUNDS LIKE YOU PERCEIVE YOURSELF DIFFERENT THAN ALL THE GAYS PROFILED HERE, so why don’t YOU present that strong masculine, highly correllated like/attraction theory, and show us just how a gay guy SHOULD BE since you ALWAYS have so much to say about it. ALWAYS… it’s cool, we’ll wait …
ahhh finally someone noticed this too.
There’s no one kind of gay guy. Gay guys come in all kind of shapes, sizes, nationalities, ethnicities, political positions, religions (including not religious), income levels, ages, fem or macho (including the full range in between) … and the list goes on. Look at member profiles
on A4A from any selection of cities. You’ll see all kinds of gay guys, with only a small percentage fitting the stereotype. Most gay guys aren’t the stereotype, myself included. Profile after profile shows our diversity. Diverse gay guys are here. “Deal with it.”
Anytime someone masculine or someone who is looking for masculine guys seems to be on a platform like this or any of the apps they get shamed for being misogynistic or self hating gays. Its also funny to me all the a4a models are some sort of dreamy male stereotype though, bouncing around muscles in undies.
PREACH!!!
Oh jeez … it looks like the “Gay Monolith” has mobilized and are on the attack. Friendly reminder that you CAN like men and not be a stereotype … the only thing that makes someone gay is liking the same sex. You don’t have to (not an exhaustive list, of course): – be feminine. – sound or act like a sassy black woman. – sexualize everything. – swear yourself to the rainbow flag. Don’t get me wrong – celebrating the “stereotypical gay man,” like this Rickey Thompson character, is fine; however, it would be nice to acknowledge and celebrate some… Read more »
When I see types that have nothing to do with what I’m physically attracted to, I say nothing, nothing at all, why, why give so much ‘negative’ energy? That adorable puppy is what got me.
No matter what I find physically attractive, “instagram star” is an insta turn off.
yes, yes indeed.
I had to give “fit gamer” a thumbs up on the many valid points. But this does seem to be the feminizing of gay men that probably didn’t always exist, as homosexuality has since antiquities, the Mediterranean’s i.e., “women are for babies as men are for love.” As in Africa, “Isaiah Washington” formerly of “Greys Anatomy” has discovered; homosexuality prior to the many invasions of Europeans, did exist and was at least largely excepted. Many Indigenous tribes also saw these people as “twice as wise” having the knowledge/wisdom of both male and female intelligence about life. Just as Asian emperors… Read more »
He’s ok but I prefer them to be softer in bed…..
