The first trailer of Love, Victor is here and netizens couldn’t get enough of it! We know that many of our Adam4Adam blog readers are fans of the film Love, Simon (2018, Greg Berlanti)—the universe where Love, Victor is set—and that y’all will be thrilled to watch this trailer so without further ado, here’s our first look at the series:
Love, Victor is a 10-episode dramedy that follows the life of, well, Victor, who’s a new student at Creekwood High School. On top of being the new kid in town who’s finding his own way to a new city, Victor is faced with many other challenges: at home, at school, and then there’s his struggles with his sexual orientation as he experiences his first crush. Overwhelmed with his life problems, Victor befriends Simon and asks for his help on how to successfully navigate the stormy path of high school.
This romantic comedy series stars Michael Cimino as Victor, George Sear as Benji—Victor’s confident and charming classmate, Ana Ortiz as Isabel—Victor’s mother, James Martinez as Armando—Victor’s father, Mason Gooding as Andrew—Creekwood’s cocky and popular basketball-loving jock, Rachel Naomi Hilson as Mia—Victor’s smart friend, Bebe Wood as Lake—Victor’s social media-obsessed best friend, and Anthony Turpel as Felix—Victor’s awkward new neighbor. Nick Robinson is back, he reprises his role as Simon Spier and he also narrates the series.
