June 12, 2021 marks the fifth anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida that left 49 dead and over 50 others wounded. The victims were mostly LGBTQ and Latinx because that day, Pulse was hosting “Latin Night.” Reportedly, it was 2:02 a.m. when the shooting began and the crisis lasted until 5:14 a.m.

Adam4adam blog readers, let us take a moment to remember and pray for the 49 people we lost as well as the family and friends they left behind, mourning. Let us also keep in our prayers the people who survived including the police officers, most of them suffered from PTSD, suffered mentally, if not physically.

In remembrance of the Pulse victims, people all over the world are invited to ring their bells 49 times in unison. In addition, flags across Florida will be flown at half-staff, and the Annual Remembrance Ceremony will also be held outside the former gay nightclub at 7 p.m. ET.
According to Orlando Date Night Guide, “The observance brings together the families of those whose lives were tragically taken and provides them a space to remember their loved ones in peace.” They added that they also “honor all who survived, the brave first responders and our trauma teams who sacrificed so much to save so many.”

The Pulse Nightclub shooting is dubbed as “the deadliest incident in the history of violence against LGBT people in the United States and the deadliest terrorist attack in the U.S. since the September 11 attacks in 2001.”
To date, it is considered the second deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
You do realize that Hispanics HATE that Latinx bullshit. The incident was a mess, not the least because of the guy that barred the door after he got out. There was more than one murderer that night.
What does “Latinx” mean anyway?
it’s a gender neutral term for folks living in islands and countries that were colonized by Portugal and Spain.

I think, because of the murderer’s ethnic back-ground/religion; is what Timothy is referring to, as you know, in at least parts of the middle-east; homosexuality is grounds for death. I not sure, but I think “he” had issues with his own sexuality, not for sure of that though.
One person with a CCW permit can make all the difference. The second amendment is not a partisan issue, it is your right as an American citizen, and we should all be furious at those who have legislated us out of our right to defend ourselves when out in public.
