Are you a fan of Wham!, guys?
Wham! was an English pop duo formed in 1981, it consisted of childhood friends George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley. The two met when George was 11 and Andrew was 12 at Bushey Meads School in Bushey in Hertfordshire in the East of England.
The duo was first a part of ska band called The Executive, which included some of their former school friends namely David (Austin) Mortimer, Andrew Leaver, Tony Bywaters, Ian Bowden, Jamie Gould, Harry Tadayon, and Paul Ridgeley.
Anyway, we are bringing this up because a documentary of the same title featuring the pop duo is currently on Netflix (I just actually finished watching it and it is great!). Directed by Chris Smith, Wham! details George Michael’s and Andrew Ridgeley’s journey to becoming world famous popstars.
The road to stardom was hard, there was their struggle with the competition and they were also a new band with no fanbase, but most importantly, their first tour was successful and yet they both had no money. The pop duo was clearly out of their depths.
Of course, the documentary touched George Michael’s (who was then known by his Greek name, Georgios Panayiotou) struggle with his sexuality and it also showed just how supportive Andrew Ridgeley was with his best friend both in terms of his career and sexuality.

Meanwhile, below is the official blurb of Netflix’s Wham!
With unprecedented access to both George and Andrew’s personal archive including never-before-seen footage, and previously unheard interviews, WHAM! charts in their own words the four-year journey from teenage school friends to global superstars.
It has been over six years since George Michael’s untimely death on Christmas Day in 2016 at the age of 53.
Wham! was active from 1981 to 1986. They went on to become one of the most commercially successful pop acts of the 1980s, having sold more than 30 million certified records worldwide from 1982 to 1986. This ’80s pop sensation is the one behind a number of hit songs in their time including Club Tropicana (1983), Wham! – Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go (1984), Careless Whisper (1984), and Last Christmas (1986) to name a few.
Happy viewing!

“Big money! No Whammies!”
Money, definitely!
Big money, perhaps not?
Been a few days and still nothing posted about NFL Strength Coach, Ken Maxen’s announcement. A4A Blog bosses maybe not football fans? There’s a Sports category in the A4A Health tab and NFL has been discussed in the past so they’re not strangers.
In actuality, Andrew screwed George over royally. He struggled with his bisexuality and played with George’s emotions. One day on…one day off. That struggle is clearly written in George Michael’s solo songs. I have no respect for Andrew at all.
