Law enforcement in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, detained and arrested 31 people—allegedly members of the white nationalist group Patriot Front—on suspicion of conspiracy to riot. They were found packed into the back of a U-Haul truck with riot gear near an Idaho LGBTQ pride event being held at Public Park last Saturday.
Coeur d’Alene Police Chief Lee White said in a statement during a news conference, “It is clear to us based on the gear that the individuals had with them, the stuff they had in their possession, the U-Haul with them along with paperwork that was seized from them, that they came to riot downtown.”
The group was found to have been wearing “shields, shin guards and other riot gear with them,” not to mention they had with them documents that are “similar to an operations plan that a police or military group would put together for an event,” CNN reports.
Further, White revealed that the group—which were identified as members of Patriot Front because of their arm patches and logos on their hats—planned to riot not just at the LGBTQ pride event but also in several other areas across downtown Coeur d’Alene.
White added that all 31 suspects were charged with conspiracy to riot, a misdemeanor. The individuals were reportedly from at least 11 states namely Washington, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Colorado, South Dakota, Illinois, Wyoming, Virginia, and Arkansas, while one of them came from Idaho. They were booked Saturday afternoon and were arraigned on Monday.
Meanwhile, the North Idaho Pride Alliance thanked the authorities for stopping the potential riot in a statement to CNN. They said:
“As a small community nonprofit, North Idaho Pride Alliance is taking a much-needed day of rest after successfully organizing a momentous, joyful, and SAFE Pride in the Park community celebration under the most challenging of circumstances.”
They added, “We are deeply grateful to law enforcement agencies who were present and professionally responded throughout the day to keep our community safe.”
Patriot Front is described by Anti-Defamation League as a “white supremacist group whose members maintain that their ancestors conquered America and bequeathed it to them, and no one else.” ADL also said that “the group split from another white supremacist group, Vanguard America, in late August 2017.” Read more about them here.
“Much Ado About Nothing”!
Just a publicity stunt to promote “Equality & Non-discrimination.”
All orchestrated by “Caucasians” to make themselves look good and to promote the upcoming, mid-term elections.
A travesty…where you have the “Status Quo” going after the “Status Quo” which, in effect, nullifies any logic or gain.
An increasing manifestation of “False Righteousness” promulgated by a warped sense of self propaganda.
In-the-end: nothing gained – nothing lost!
The perfect “Epithet” for the disingenuous application of the definition of “Democracy.”
The January 6th event along with this Idaho one are only predecessors of what is to come as long as Americans who are heterosexual, White, Conservative, and/or Christian become more and more disenfranchised and excluded. These individuals are just as Diverse as anyone who is LGTBQ+, non-religious, and/or Black. Yes, the January 6th and Idaho groups are extreme. They are, however, clear, early signals that Equality and Diversity needs to apply to ALL Americans who believe in Democracy.
White, heterosexuals and Christians are being disenfranchised and excluded? In what way? You seem to imply that equality doesn’t apply to them. How are they not equal?
That, in itself, is why I gave that comment a thumbs down, I found it to be a “spin” on the truth. The truth is, they don’t believe in equality, period, nor diversity as forementioned in earlier thread. The “earliest signals” that democracy belongs to all, was when slaves challenged the idea of “Liberty & Justice for all.” So, Hunter500, you’ve said nothing, except you did mention: everything that “hetero sexual, white, conservative, and/or Christian/s” have been doing to everyone else, (excluding) everyone else. It’s just that America, is becoming “by the numbers” more brown/black; people of color than “white”… Read more »
“They” want “Equality”. It’s not happening and we should not be surprised when “they” push back.
Everything ends.
Listen to topics our President, Vice-President and the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives address online and on-camera. Never heterosexual, White, Conservative, or Christian. Notice how high schools, colleges, and employers establish social groups for LGTBQ+ and race individuals. Never heterosexual, White, Conservative, or Christian. Ask white, males who aren’t LGTBQ+ who have been looking for employment for months who they found out from friends at companies the jobs were given to. Watch mainline TV programming and see that heterosexual, White, Conservative, and/or Christian topics are not discussed. We should start with inserting an S in LGTBQ+. And then… Read more »

They were planning on attacking places that were not gay as well. Hopefully they’ll feel their share of equality when they appear in court before a judge. Sadly, all they can be charged with is a misdemeanor.
Anyone really surprised? Like I said, “Jim Crow for me, and fascism for anyone; not me.” What else ya’ got?

Sorry, but this smacks of another false flag operation by the FBI or the CIA. These guys who were arrested look like cops and government instigators. Why isn’t law enforcement removing their masks? And come on, a terrorist plot against Gay Pride in Idaho? Why? This seems as fake as the Kathy Hochul alleged kidnapping plot by the FBI. It’s time that we started investigating the FBI as participants and instigators of January 6, BLM protests, mass shootings, and now this fake Gay Pride plot.
all bogus, why weren’t they unmasked, why can’t we see their faces. Most likely this is staged, created to yet again create more division and hate by the left. Why hasn’t anyone ever heard of these “white supremist groups” until something like this is staged? Where are the shields and weapons? Since when it is illegal to play dressup. Antifa dresses like this and carries shields and weapons and they actually do riot, but when do they get arrested. At this point, this group had not even committed a crime.
Looks like a bunch of feds doing another false flag operation. Let’s talk about equality for a bit. Universities everywhere are compromising academic standards in the name of equality. There’s really nothing prejudicial about academic standards; you’re either smart enough to get into college and get a useful degree or you’re not. Your skin color should make no difference but it does and that’s not right. Schools are doing similar in terms of lowering standards so any kid will pass to the next grade whether they know the curricula or not. Governments apply points toward contracts to determine if the… Read more »
20 years ago, I had a friend gay bashed and hospitalized and there were a couple of times were I was running for my life from a group of teenage boys. I was called faggot by stangers every week or two. And while I think it has become a lot safer for white gay men and lesbians, especially in on the coasts or in big cities, this is certainly not the case for LGBTQ in more culturally conservative parts of the country and not the case for the trans communities, especially women of color. That said, this looks like FBI… Read more »
