Lil Nas X made a guest appearance at James Corden’s ‘Carpool Karaoke’ where the duo sang the former’s following songs: Old Town Road, INDUSTRY BABY, THATS WHAT I WANT, and MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name).
In the brief video uploaded on YouTube, the 23-year-old American rapper, singer, and songwriter revealed that he is a man of many talents. Not only did Lil Nas X showcase his singing prowess, he also revealed that he knows how to play the trumpet as apparently, he played said instrument in grade school and high school.
The clip also showed Lil Nas X and James Corden dropping at the set of The Bold and the Beautiful on one of their tapings where the two were given the chance to flaunt their acting talents. The Bold and the Beautiful, by the way, is a long-running soap opera set in the glamorous world of the Los Angeles fashion scene.
Lil Nas X and Corden acted in a scene with the leading actors. The former was given the role of a waiter (who had solid nine lines) while the latter was a busboy asked to carry breadsticks (no lines at all). Needless to say, the acting scene was hilarious and the episode as a whole was fun not to mention juicy as the MONTERO singer revealed that he dislikes dating other celebrities. Watch it below:
The final episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden will air on Thursday, April 27. Corden is reportedly set to move back to the UK so he could spend more time with his wife and their three children. He’s been the host of the American show since March 2015 after he succeeded Scottish actor and comedian Craig Ferguson.
Happy viewing!
After his initial splash several years ago with “Old Town Road”, he rode his new found fame into Covid. In 2021, he produced “Montero” and rode that one through tours in 2022. Now in 2023, he’s riding James Corden and “The Bold and the Beautiful” to wisely keep himself in the celebrity spotlight.
True…
but as he will find out…
he continues to latch on to anything and everything to continue the ride…
to eventual “Nowhere”.
